Leonie Gibbs is a highly successful painter and sculptor, and an experienced art teacher. Her own painting technique is inspired by the work of the Scottish Colourists – Peploe, Ferguson, Cadell and others – and her landscapes, still-lives and portraits are infused with a sense of light and colour. Leonie studied at Edinburgh and Wimbledon art colleges. She has had a long succession of shared and one-man exhibitions and her work is in numerous corporate and private collections. She was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 1989. 

Leonie will be teaching a course of landscape oil and watercolour painting using the beautiful surroundings of Trasierra as subject matter.
